Tour de Temples 6th to 9th May
The Tour des Temples is organised by the Somerset Masonic Cycling Association that will see a group of cyclists cycle from Minehead in the west of the province to Bath in the east. Calling at all the Masonic Halls and venues in Somerset. While there are a core group of a dozen or so riders, the organisers hope that as many brethren and their families will join us when we are near their Masonic centre or home, perhaps even ride with us for a couple of miles!
Members hope that the ride will;
- Promote ‘Health & Well Being’ by encouraging brethren and their families and friends to get involved in cycling.
- Unite all the Lodges in one event.
- Raise Money for Somerset Charities.
- Increase awareness of Freemasonry in Somerset.
The route will start at Minehead on the morning of 6th May:
Friday 6th May – Minehead – Watchet – Wiveliscombe -Wellington – Taunton – Langport – Ilminster.
Saturday 7th – May – Chard – Crewkerne – Yeovil – Wincanton – Bruton – Shepton Mallett.
Sunday 8th – Frome – Midsomer Norton – Wells – Glastonbury – Bridgwater.
Monday 9th – Burnham – Weston super Mare – Yatton – Clevedon – Nailsea – Keynsham – Bath.
We will try to provide accurate timings for arrival at each centre nearer the date of the event.
